Over 18 years old: adult avatar type, requires a background check

How do I create an adult avatar?

You can create an adult avatar in either the single Avatar Creation page or via the bulk upload process by indicating the AvatarType as 'Adult'.

You MUST upload a pdf or scan of a signed official letter from your school principal on school letterhead (View Sample) listing all the teacher/staff names that you intend to create adult avatars for. This letter must state that they have past the appropriate background checks, such as Ascertain.

You can alternatively upload the actual background check document if the adult is not covered by a general letter from the school.

By creating new adult avatars without first uploading a background check documentation you are violating Second Life policy for teen grid, and you risk having your partner account disabled and additionally being banned permanently by Linden Labs from ever creating another account in Second Life!

Linden Labs takes this very seriously, there is no recourse if you are banned.
